My name is Dr Tabita Kristel and I am a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I lecture on psychology, consult on health projects, and engage in therapeutic practice. My educational background includes a B.A (Gen) in English and Psychology, followed by an MSc in Health Psychology and a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working with various organisations. I spent over two years with the charity Chest, Heart, & Stroke Scotland, where I started a psychological service aimed at supporting the caregivers of stroke survivors, as well as stroke survivors themselves. What started in Glasgow has now expanded to multiple locations across Scotland. Concurrently, I joined the NHS (Lanarkshire) team providing support to Bariatric patients pre and post-op. Presently, I offer online therapeutic support to individuals dealing with a wide range of health difficulties.
I enjoy researching, and finding new approaches to suit various health presentations. As such, I look forward to connecting with you on your journey of exploration.
